“The Up-Side of Down” was inspired by a 2009 assault and battery that hospitalized me with multiple facial fractures, severe eye trauma, and a concussion. My signature icon, which I saw flashing in my head during my concussive state, is a key repeating element in this series that represents life growing from death and discovering the positives in negatives.

Featured: I Will Finally Let You Love Me (Because I Learned To Love Myself). Acrylic and aerosol on panel. 25in x 40in. This painting is the 2016 sequel to “I Will Never Let You Love Me (Because I Could Never Love Myself)” from 2010. It took a lot longer than 6 years to cultivate self love. It’s a lifelong journey and a major work in progress because, to be honest, some days I’m just not feeling it.

Currently on exhibit at La Playa Gallery in La Jolla. See it for just a few more weeks 🙂

Featured: I Gave You Every Piece Of Me But You Could Never Love A Puzzle (95,126,814,720 Pieces Of An Alchemist). Acrylic and Aerosol on Panel. 40in x 25in. Love is puzzling and our hearts always seem to be breaking or being put back together. It’s a perpetual state of construction and deconstruction.

As every story has a past, present, and future…

As every story has a past, present, and future, what may at first glimpse appear to be non-objective abstraction is in fact energetic imagery interacting and breathing through the boundlessness of space and time.

Featured: The Soliloquy Of Stranger (Straliloquy). Acrylic on canvas. 72in x 72in. If you look closely, you may see an exalted figure illuminated in the center of the painting. It is a winged stranger discovering her voice as her energy cycles in and out perpetually.

Special rates for businesses! Original artwork and custom prints in a variety of sizes and formats. Worldwide shipping. DM for inquiries.
