The love she carries in her heart is as vast as her pain and as deep as her scars.

Have you ever felt like you’re a little bit “extra” or maybe more than others? It could be anything, positive or negative. Maybe you’re more of a giver. Maybe you always work a little bit harder. Maybe you just always seem to have more thrown at you. Maybe you feel like you’re always more on the edge or stand out because you’re more noticeably different than those that surround you. I just want to tell you…It’s okay to be “More Than Most."

You can check out canvas prints of this painting HERE and please also take a look at my blog and podcast for real & raw content that matters.

The “Beautiful Accidents” and “Puzzled Hearts Minis” are all created from recycled remnants of my palettes. These are the 9 palettes of Regenaissance. Message me to get your original piece today.

Commencing upon the precipice of homelessness, “The Boy In The Box” follows the rigid geometric structuring of the “The Up-Side Of Down” and represents the perpetual quest for personal freedom and breaking outside of the box. We all create our own boxes and some more than others.
“Flesh Of My Flesh (Deribon)” tells a story of creation and the interconnectedness of relationships. If you look closely, you may spot a large figure in the upper right corner and a much smaller figure in the bottom right. The smaller figure is in a state of genesis, feeding and growing from the nourishment and energy of the other.

This painting does have ties to a specific creation story, referencing Eve being created from the rib of Adam. Shortly after this painting was completed, someone vandalized it, puncturing and cutting through it right where Eve’s rib is. I had to patch Eve’s rib and carefully mend it, which I feel added to the symbolism and energy of the painting.
