Mikaela Turnbull – The Armor She Must Wear, 2018

Mixed Media, Private Collection

by @lifebymika

If you have been following me for some time, then you know my feelings towards the majority of contemporary art. HOWEVER, every so often I come across some pieces and works that I truly admire and really make me think. The work by Mikaela Turnbull is definitely one of those!

I absolutely love the way she combines conceptual art with interesting combinations of colours and materials in order to convey meaning. You can check her work here on her tumblr @lifebymika. Let me know what you think!
