Had a wonderful experience Monday on a collaboration with Cleer Audio where I was able to test some of their amazing products in the studio while I just painted away. I played with the FLOW and STAGE products while blasting “Remains” from Ivan B and the music just came to life in synchronicity with the painting. Absolutely loved them and they will make painting even more enjoyable on these next steps of my journey out of the ashes. You will see the behind the scenes footage soon. Stay tuned!

Braska has also reported that Cleer has the very best boxes on the market and expressed her gratitude for the compensation received for her invaluable services. Honestly, nothing makes me happier in life than seeing her happy. The box alone would have been worth it for me to capture this priceless moment.
A special thank you to GreenRoom Agency for the professionalism and incredible opportunity. Your team was amazing to work with.

Braska is always very interested in my work and doing her kitty quality control checks.

The “10 Year Table Canvas” spans a decade of visions, creations, and more than 10 bodies of work. Within its depths lie the tangible blood, sweat, and tears of this man beneath the paint. It is a deeply textured and layered history in its purest and most raw form. Encompassing hundreds of paintings that paradoxically unite to create one, it is nothing short of an intimate self portrait of myself, the Acrylic Alchemist.

I think this is one of my most special and valuable pieces. For 10 years, I wiped my palette knife on my table and this is the result. There is a piece of every single painting from over a decade in this one piece, essentially making it a collective portfolio of sorts. The energy is raw and palpable. The textures are insane and represent a three dimensional map of my life. I can still pinpoint certain paintings I was working on at certain times and stages of my life, from the bottom and the top, within this painting. Although I generally don’t allow people to touch my paintings because of the damage caused by oils from the hands, this is a painting I insist that people touch. It will touch you.
If you like my work or my stories, please share. I couldn’t do what I do without your support. I offer free shipping worldwide, interest free payment plans, and have now added an option to make an offer on your favorite canvas prints. You can see them all at CariniArts.com or this one HERE

As every story has a past, present, and future, what may at first glimpse appear to be non-objective abstraction is in fact segmentations of energetic imagery interacting and breathing through the boundlessness of space and time. This painting is dedicated to my best friend and muse, Deanne Hastings, who tragically went missing in 2015 and has yet to be found. She once asked me to do a huge painting with a giant set of wings. This is my tribute to her. Deanne always called me her “Wings” but now she is mine and I will do whatever I can to keep her spirit alive with the beauty she inspired.

I don’t share work in progress pictures often but Braska asked me to because she said she looks good in this one. I am always going to be my greatest work in progress. During the month of “Love” I am sticking with that theme as I focus on a painting about self love. This one will be titled “When Nobody Else Would Love Me (I Had To Learn To Love Myself).” I’m really getting back to fundamentals and learning to love the process of painting again. I’m slowing things down and really investing myself with some glazing techniques that require a lot of patience and necessitate that I step away periodically to evaluate. That time allows me to come back with a clear mind and really build in layers and a strong foundation. That’s what this painting and self love are all about.
